about me

christine edwards photographer: Kansas City, Missouri, United States; kaleo images was created when i realized photography is part of what God has called me to do. that is where kaleo, a hebrew word meaning "a calling," comes from. i began a fascination with photography in high school and carried it through to college where i graduated from the university of central missouri with a degree in photography/biology. as time went on, for some reason, the fascination subsided until recently when i felt God calling me back to be a photographer. i have experience capturing portraits, interned as a forensic photographer and for the past 4 years i have been working in the lab. while in college i was blessed with many opportunities to travel and wonder around the world. my favorite and most memorable life-changing journey took me to new zealand, where i met my amazing husband and my saviour Jesus Christ. i owe everything to Him, He gave me a brand new start and restored my vision to see truth.
